Thousands have gathered at the Miami Beach Convention Center for CoinDesk's Consensus conference, with day one headlined by Arthur Hayes, Lily Liu, Jesse Pollak, Anatoly Yakovenko, Brad Garlinghouse and others covering everything from macro conditions to DeFi growth and AI tooling.

On the policy side, discussions will touch on the DOJ's pursuit of mixer developers, crypto-specific legislation in progress on Capitol Hill, Congressman Steven Horsford's push to reform crypto tax treatment, and CFTC Chairman Michael Selig's expanding mandate over crypto and prediction markets.

Day two brings CoinDesk's Capital Markets Summit, where traditional finance veterans meet the teams working to bring institutional products on-chain. Tokenization — a headline theme at Consensus Hong Kong in February — is again expected to dominate the TradFi conversation.
