CoinGecko's top 10 sat unchanged at the 09:00 UTC snapshot on 16 Jul, but the action in the mid-cap band told a clear thematic story: tokenized real-world assets advanced while consumer and legacy-L1 names lagged.

The RWA cluster

Ondo led the move with a 14.7% 24h gain, lifting ONDO from rank 49 to 44. Two other tokenized-fund tickers added three ranks each in the same window: EURSAFO climbed 77→74 and JAAA moved 90→87. USDGO at rank 69→66 kept the cluster moving in the same direction. BUIDL (BlackRock's USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund) was the soft counterpoint, slipping 32→35 on flat pricing. Net effect: aggregate RWA exposure inside the top 100 gained ground even with one outlier cooling.

Counter-themes

The fallers clustered on the other side of the ledger. PI slipped 72→76 on an 8% drop and BEAT fell 76→81 at -7.3%. DOT and DEXE each gave back two to three ranks. APT re-entered the top 100 at #100 with a 0.52B market cap, displacing USDTB (which dropped out at $0.73B). The rotation reads as capital moving from speculative consumer and legacy-L1 tokens into yield-bearing, treasury-anchored instruments.
