Bitget rolls out Claude enterprise access to entire 2,167-person staff

The spend is modest — under $5M a year — but rolling AI access out to every employee, not just engineering, signals how a mid-tier exchange is positioning on workflow automation.

Bitget has purchased enterprise access to Claude for all 2,167 employees at $200 per person per month, the cryptocurrency exchange said. The rollout covers non-engineering staff as well as technical teams, with the exchange framing it as organisational infrastructure rather than a developer-only perk.

Why it matters

The annual run-rate lands below $5M — a small line item for a venue of Bitget's size — but the optics matter more than the dollars. Many exchanges have quietly subscribed a few engineers to AI tools; publicly extending enterprise licences to every employee is rarer. It positions Bitget inside the cohort of firms treating AI access as a default workplace utility, on par with Slack or Google Workspace, rather than a controlled research budget.

Market impact

The move has no direct token or price effect — there is no $BITGET on-chain asset and no Claude token to price. The investable read is competitive: enterprise-AI adoption is becoming a hiring and retention lever across crypto, and a mid-tier exchange going wide rather than narrow narrows the gap to better-capitalised venues that already operate the same model.
