Dataline Raises $10.6M to Build AI Data Network

The startup plans a Base token sale using Uniswap’s Continuous Clearing Auction, while its future token is designed to pay for data access and secure provider quality.

Dataline has raised $10.6 million in seed funding to build a decentralized data network for AI agents, with Lattice and Samsung-backed Dispersion Capital co-leading the round. Coinbase Ventures, Symbolic Capital, Anagram and other investors also participated. The round closed in April through a SAFE with a token warrant; Dataline did not disclose its valuation.

Why it matters

The platform brings onchain and offchain data sources together and scores data for reliability, recency and consistency. That context could help an AI agent distinguish a temporary price anomaly from a deeper problem, such as a stablecoin losing its peg. Dataline says it is already live with around 50 data sources, including an initial group covering Hyperliquid, Polymarket, Kalshi, Base, Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, Sui and TON.

Dataline says it was built specifically for AI agents, while naming Chainlink, Pyth, The Graph and Grass as other data platforms in the market. Developers building on Base and Robinhood Chain will receive free access, the startup said.

Market impact

Dataline plans to launch its token by year-end and hold a public sale on Base using Uniswap’s Continuous Clearing Auction system. The token is intended for network payments and access; users may also lock tokens to keep access to data feeds instead of paying a recurring subscription. Sale size, token allocation and other terms have not been disclosed.

The proposed system also ties provider compensation to data quality. Providers would stake tokens when submitting data, with rejected submissions reviewed by AI and, if needed, a network vote. Providers whose data fails review could lose their stake, which would go toward another provider’s reward. Dataline plans to use the funding to add data sources, improve verification and expand into robotics and AI training data.
