Multiliquid Raises $8M to Speed Tokenized-Asset Settlement

Its atomic conversions target the redemption delays that can leave institutional treasuries waiting days to move capital between tokenized assets and stablecoins.

Uniform Labs has raised $8 million across pre-seed and seed rounds for Multiliquid, its platform for settling conversions between tokenized assets and stablecoins. Polychain led the latest seed round, joined by Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures and Circle Ventures. The company did not disclose the split between rounds or its valuation.

Multiliquid is live on Ethereum and Solana. It aims to complete both sides of a conversion in one atomic transaction, rather than leave institutions waiting through issuer redemption processes that can take several days. Founder and CEO Will Beeson says the platform is designed to let institutions rebalance reserves, meet intraday margin calls and change investment strategies around the clock.

Why it matters

Tokenized assets can move onchain, but their subscription and redemption processes may still operate on slower, issuer-specific schedules. That mismatch can limit how quickly institutions use tokenized holdings as working capital or collateral. Multiliquid is targeting the settlement and liquidity friction between onchain assets and stablecoins, not simply a route for investors to cash out.

Beeson says the platform executes conversions at net asset value and settles both sides together. That is intended to avoid the price slippage associated with automated market makers and the manual execution and delays common to traditional over-the-counter desks. Multiliquid is non-custodial and supports permissioned token standards, including transfer restrictions, identity checks and issuer-defined compliance rules.

Market impact

The platform supports tokenized assets from Wellington Management, VanEck, Janus Henderson and Fasanara, alongside stablecoins including USDC. It is handling initial pilot transactions and plans to add liquidity providers in the fourth quarter. Multiliquid charges fees on completed conversions and says it has no current plan to issue a token.

The $8 million will fund protocol engineering, liquidity and trading-venue partnerships, and integrations for tokenized cash and Treasury products across Ethereum Virtual Machine networks and Solana.
