Robinhood plans to launch perpetual futures for eligible US users in the coming months, with contracts tied to Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, ADA, LINK and HYPE. The company says Bitcoin and Ether perps will offer up to 10x leverage, while other contracts will offer up to 3x. Bitstamp will support the product, with a 0.01% per-trade fee through year-end. Why it matters
Perpetual futures would give Robinhood customers access to leveraged long and short crypto positions without an expiry date. CEO Vlad Tenev described the product as a new chapter for US derivatives, while the company says profit and loss will be settled every 15 minutes. The planned launch comes as crypto firms explore ways to bring perpetual contracts to US markets.
Robinhood also plans to enable 24/7 trading in a curated group of US stocks and ETFs, pending regulatory review. The service would extend its existing 24 Hour Market, which currently runs from Sunday at 8 p.m. ET through Friday at 8 p.m. ET, and use Bruce ATS.

The announcements span derivatives, equities and automated trading, broadening Robinhood’s push to keep trading activity inside its app. Its new Robinhood Agents feature lets users build AI agents for research, strategy development or automated trading. The company says more than 150,000 users have opened agentic trading accounts since May, and those agents use its tools nearly 30 million times a day.
The perps and weekend-equity plans are not yet live: the former is slated for the coming months, while 24/7 stock trading remains subject to regulatory review. Their rollout will test demand for expanded trading hours and leveraged crypto products among US retail users.
