U.S. spot Solana ETFs attracted a record $188 million in net inflows last week, and all seven funds recorded inflows. Bitwise’s BSOL led with about $128 million, or 68% of the weekly total, while Friday’s $87 million intake set a daily record for the group.
Why it matters
The breadth of buying suggests demand was not limited to a single fund: Grayscale’s GSOL added $28 million and Fidelity’s FSOL brought in $18 million. Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares accounted for the remaining $14 million.
Bitwise has also captured roughly $1.2 billion of the group’s $1.6 billion in cumulative net inflows, about 76%. Its share last week was lower, as competing funds attracted about $60 million between them. Spot ETFs offer brokerage-account exposure to SOL without requiring investors to manage a crypto wallet; net inflows measure money entering funds after withdrawals.
Market impact
Friday contributed nearly half of the weekly total. Bitwise took in $56 million that day, while Grayscale collected $19 million. The Solana ETF surge came alongside about $2.4 billion in weekly inflows to U.S. Bitcoin ETFs and roughly $690 million to Ether products.
SOL traded around $119 during Monday’s Asian morning hours, still about 60% below its record near $293. Separately, developers are testing Alpenglow, an upgrade designed to cut payment finality from about 12.8 seconds to roughly 150 milliseconds. It reached the network’s second public testing environment on Friday; the 150-millisecond figure remains a target, and no live-network launch date has been announced.
