As of 15:00 UTC on 02 Nov, the contrarian signal in CoinMarketCap’s top 100 is stablecoin strength by rank: USDe and USD1 advanced despite nearly flat prices, while Ethena’s ENA and Canton’s CC slipped. The top 10 was unchanged, and the top-100 boundary had one entrant and one exit.

Rank strength without price gains

USDe moved from 21 to 19 and USD1 from 25 to 23, even as both traded close to $1 with marginally negative 24-hour changes. United Stables also gained three places, from 49 to 46, at essentially no price change. These are rank gains, not evidence of broad price momentum.

The opposing moves are notable: ENA fell two places, 35 to 37, on a 4.7% decline, while CC slipped from 23 to 25, down 3.5%. Quant was a modest exception among non-stablecoin climbers, rising from 37 to 35 with a 1.8% gain.

At the top-100 edge

SPX6900 entered at 99 with a 1.2% 24-hour gain; STRK left from rank 100 after a 3.1% decline. With one entry and one exit, the boundary change was a rotation rather than a net expansion. The main contrast is rank resilience among dollar-pegged tokens against weakness in several neighboring assets.
