AI Agents Are Coming for the App Era — Software's End State Is Private, Personal, and Agent-Built

The case is building that running code written by strangers will one day look as reckless as riding without a seatbelt. AI coding agents — OpenAI Codex, Anthropic's Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Google Jules — are already generating full software stacks on demand.
