Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of 4,275 BTC ($312.67M) on May 29, extending a brutal seven-day stretch that has seen $1.34 billion exit the funds. The sustained weekly bleed signals more than routine rebalancing — institutional holders are actively reducing exposure.
Ethereum ETFs fared even worse on a percentage basis, shedding 47,308 ETH ($94.43M) in a single session and $199.68M across the week. The combined daily outflow across BTC and ETH products topped $407M, a figure that will weigh on near-term price action for both assets.
The one bright spot in the data is Solana: SOL ETF products pulled in 14,169 SOL ($1.15M) on the day and 91,988 SOL ($7.48M) over the week — modest in dollar terms but a clear directional divergence from the two majors.
