Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR) disclosed it acquired 26,497 ETH over the past week, lifting its total Ethereum holdings to 5.42 million ETH — equivalent to 4.49% of the entire circulating supply of 120.7 million tokens. The company is now 90% of the way toward its self-declared 'Alchemy of 5%' threshold, a milestone it has been targeting since launching its ETH accumulation strategy roughly 11 months ago.

Total crypto, cash, and other investments stand at $11.6 billion. Within that figure, 4.72 million ETH is actively staked, generating yield on the bulk of the position. The balance sheet also includes $446 million in cash and equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco.

The scale of Bitmine's accumulation is notable in context: holding nearly 4.5% of a major Layer-1's circulating supply from a single NYSE-listed corporate treasury is a structural development for Ethereum's ownership distribution — and a signal that institutional conviction in ETH as a treasury asset is deepening beyond the Bitcoin-first playbook.
