BlackRock Files XRP Trust as ETP Inflows Hit $120M — Experts See Institutional Window Opening!

XRP is trading at $1.41, down more than 30% year-to-date, but institutional infrastructure around the asset is accelerating fast. BlackRock has filed for an XRP trust product, joining Grayscale and 21Shares in building regulated exposure vehicles — and that pipeline appears to be driving results: XRP captured roughly $120 million of the $224 million in global weekly crypto ETP inflows last week.

At Consensus 2026, financial strategist Jake Claver argued Wall Street's biggest firms aren't absent from XRP — they're waiting for the right regulatory window. "I think they're going to roll it out at the opportune time," he said, adding that clearer U.S. regulatory guidance could be "a big catalyst for BlackRock and these other institutions to feel comfortable moving into the ring."
