HIFI Raises $37M to Scale Tokenized Markets

The round links stablecoin payments to institutional tokenized securities as Visa, DTCC and major financial firms push digital-asset settlement into production.

HIFI raised $37 million in Series A funding led by Left Lane Capital to expand its tokenized capital-markets infrastructure and product suite. The New York company provides API infrastructure connecting money movement, compliance and settlement across bank rails and digital assets, processing more than $7 billion in annualized volume across 87 countries. HIFI also said its platform will support stablecoin-funded payouts to more than 4 billion Visa cards.

Why it matters

The funding arrives as tokenized securities and stablecoin payments move from pilot programs toward live financial infrastructure. HIFI participated in DTCC’s July production trades using DTC-tokenized securities alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and Nasdaq. Earlier this month, it announced a partnership with Visa to extend its stablecoin settlement platform to money transfers and card payments.

The broader stablecoin market is already large enough to support that expansion. Dollar-pegged token supply has risen above $295 billion, including about $183.4 billion for Tether’s USDT and nearly $76 billion for Circle’s USDC. Visa separately said its stablecoin settlement reached a $20 billion annualized run rate, more than 15 times the level a year earlier.

Market impact

HIFI’s raise adds private capital to the infrastructure layer connecting traditional finance with digital assets. The commercial opportunity extends beyond trading, covering payouts, card payments, compliance and settlement through a single integration.

Adoption will still depend on protections familiar to users of bank money. Visa’s survey found that 56% of U.S. adults would use stablecoins with hypothetical bank-level fraud protection and deposit insurance, compared with 36% without those protections. That gap highlights the consumer trust challenge as payment networks expand stablecoin access.
