Robinhood Wallet Adds Arcus Route for Stock-Token Swaps

The integration gives eligible users another execution route, with professional market makers competing to quote each swap.

Robinhood Wallet is integrating Arcus’ API as an additional route for stock-token spot swaps. Arcus offers more than 190 stock tokens and says it has processed over $5 billion in cumulative trading volume since going live, with more than 15,000 unique traders. Eligible wallet users in supported jurisdictions will be able to access its liquidity and execution infrastructure.

Why it matters

Arcus uses a request-for-quote system: professional market makers compete to price each swap, rather than sending it to a single liquidity pool. The integration adds Arcus to several routing providers available to Robinhood Wallet; it does not make Arcus the wallet’s exclusive route.

Built by the team behind dYdX, Arcus launched on Robinhood Chain in July with more than 90 stock tokens. Its lineup has since grown past 190, while its perpetual markets remain in beta. Arcus also plans to make limit orders available through the wallet’s dapp browser.

Market impact

The reported $5 billion in cumulative volume and more than $28 million in total value locked describe Arcus’ activity, not trading generated by the new wallet integration. The arrangement puts an established stock-token venue within reach of eligible Robinhood Wallet users, subject to jurisdictional availability.

Arcus says users whose swaps execute through its route may qualify for Arcus Points. The measure of the integration will be whether users choose that route and how its quotes compare with the wallet’s other available options.
