South Korea's largest crypto exchange, Upbit, has announced the listing of io.net (IO) on its Korean Won (KRW) market. Deposits and withdrawals are supported through the Solana network, giving Korean retail investors direct fiat-denominated access to the token.
io.net is a decentralized GPU network designed for machine learning workloads, aggregating underutilized compute from data centers, crypto miners, and independent providers into a single marketplace. IO is the network's native token, serving as the medium of payment, staking collateral, and reward distribution.
A KRW listing on Upbit is a meaningful liquidity event for any mid-cap token — the exchange consistently ranks among the highest-volume venues globally and has a retail base with a strong appetite for infrastructure and AI-adjacent assets.
