Plasma (XPL) entered CoinMarketCap’s top 100 at rank 98 as of 15:00 UTC on 15 Oct, while Pendle fell out from rank 98. The top 10 held its positions; the clearest story is a handover at the lower boundary.
A boundary swap, with mid-table gains
XPL’s 24-hour price gain was 5.7%, with a reported market cap of $0.38B. Pendle remained close by market cap at $0.37B, despite a 0.7% price gain, but no longer appeared in the top 100. The rank change alone does not establish why the ordering shifted.
Among tokens present at both snapshots, STRK and CRV paired the largest price gains with rank climbs: Starknet moved 85→81 on +8.7%, while Curve DAO Token advanced 89→86 on +7.2%. KCS also gained four places, from 65 to 61, with a more modest 2.1% price rise. At the other end, Canton fell four ranks to 24 as its price declined 7.5%.
The top-100 rotation was limited to one entrant and one exit, with no top-10 boundary change.
