Quantoz EURQ (EURQ) is a euro-pegged stablecoin issued by Quantoz Payments BV, an Electronic Money Institution licensed and supervised by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). The token is structured as an Electronic Money Token (EMT) and has been designed for compliance with the European Union's MiCA regulatory framework, with its whitepaper submitted to the Dutch Financial Authorities (AFM). EURQ is deployed as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, extending its availability across compatible networks such as Polygon and other EVM-based environments, while also being represented in ecosystems including Algorand and the XRP Ledger. The stablecoin is distributed to exchanges through authorized primary market brokers. Its primary use case is to provide a regulated, euro-denominated settlement and liquidity instrument for European crypto markets, supporting trading and arbitrage activity. By regulatory requirement, every EURQ in circulation is backed at a ratio of 102% by euros. The underlying reserves are held by Stichting Quantoz, an independent bankruptcy-remote foundation under prudential supervision by the Dutch Central Bank, and are custodied in accounts at systemically important banks and in highly liquid euro-denominated bonds.
