Energy Web Token (EWT) is the native utility token of the Energy Web decentralized technology platform, an infrastructure project focused on the energy and sustainability sector. The platform combines a public, permissionless nominated proof-of-stake blockchain called Energy Web X with the Verified Compute Cloud, an off-chain environment for executing business logic related to energy markets and decarbonization.
