MetaMUI is a digital asset on the Avalanche blockchain that underpins an identity-native network where Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) replace conventional cryptographic addresses. The project is designed around permanent digital identities assigned to people, organizations, and AI agents, enabling assets, payments, and commerce to flow through verifiable entities rather than key-based wallets. This structure is intended to reduce risks tied to lost private keys and to support a transition to post-quantum cryptography without disrupting existing accounts. The platform also provides a framework for AI agents to engage in regulated economic activity under authenticated identities, and it has been used to issue sovereign digital currencies for Indigenous nations. MetaMUI has additionally been selected by the Bank for International Settlements to work on next-generation payment technology, positioning it as infrastructure for identity-based digital finance and AI-driven commerce.
