NWS Nodewaves

Nodewaves is a Web3 platform built around gamified health and wellness, founded by a team of professionals from the blockchain, healthcare, and wellness sectors. It operates within the Polygon ecosystem and combines elements of sports, NFTs, and digital collectibles to create an environment where users are encouraged to make healthier lifestyle choices and take ownership of their personal health data. The NWS token is the native utility currency of the Nodewaves Blockchain, where it is used to reward participants for constructive engagement within the ecosystem. At the core of the network are Nodewaves Nodes — NFTs whose holders confirm transactions, take part in a distributed governance framework, and receive daily NWS distributions. Participation requires acquiring a node license, which grants the holder both operational rights on the network and a voice in shaping its rules through the Node Network DGF. NWS has a fixed maximum supply of ten billion tokens, with half allocated to Node NFT owners and related participants during the first year of issuance. The supply schedule includes annual halvings, reducing new emissions over time, with the inaugural accrual period beginning in April 2023.
