SOON is a cross-chain rollup infrastructure protocol that leverages the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to deploy high-performance Layer 2 networks on top of various Layer 1 blockchains. The project introduced the concept of Decoupled SVM, a framework that enables SVM-based rollups to operate across multiple base chains while incorporating native fraud proofs, reduced data availability costs, and horizontal scaling capabilities. The protocol's Super Adoption Stack (SAS) provides native interoperability between SOON-deployed chains, as well as with the Solana and TON networks.
