Talus is an AI infrastructure network built to serve as an on-chain execution layer for autonomous, intelligent agents. It operates within the Sui ecosystem, using the network's architecture to connect off-chain artificial intelligence compute with on-chain execution and settlement. The project is developing Nexus, a decentralized automation protocol designed to allow AI agents to carry out complex workflows in a verifiable manner. This approach aims to create a transparent, trustless environment where agent-driven processes can be executed and audited on-chain, supporting both AI-native and consumer-facing applications. Talus focuses on providing the foundational layer for decentralized AI agents, with tooling intended to let developers launch agents capable of generating revenue and interacting with broader on-chain services. By bridging conventional AI compute infrastructure with blockchain-based execution, the network positions itself as core infrastructure for an emerging AI and information economy, where intelligent agents operate as first-class participants in decentralized environments.
