AORA AtlasOra
AtlasOra (AORA) is the native token of AO Protocol, a decentralized finance (DeFi) project deployed on the Base layer-2 network within the broader Ethereum ecosystem. The protocol is designed to function as a settlement and financial coordination layer for commerce in which payment precedes delivery, with a particular focus on "booking float" — the working capital held between customer payment and supplier fulfilment in industries such as travel, rentals, marketplaces, and trade finance. AO Protocol operates as a contract-layer system built around four core functions accessible through a unified integration point. Settlement routes each transaction through individually scoped smart contract wallets with isolated state, keeping funds separate rather than pooled. Yield allows stablecoin balances held during the booking lifecycle to be deployed into onchain lending markets, generating returns on escrowed capital that would otherwise sit idle. Supplier Advance enables suppliers to access liquidity against confirmed future receivables, with advances collateralized by booking flows rather than traditional credit underwriting. Dispute Resolution is handled through the Independent Juror Program (IJP), in which staked participants adjudicate contested transactions. AORA serves as the utility and governance asset supporting this payment-focused infrastructure.
