Avail (AVAIL) is a modular blockchain infrastructure project focused on solving the data availability and cross-chain coordination challenges facing rollup-based ecosystems. It operates within the broader Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base ecosystems, providing foundational infrastructure that other networks can build on. The project is organized around two main components. Avail DA is a high-throughput data availability layer that uses KZG polynomial commitments and data availability sampling (DAS) to verify that transaction data has been published and remains accessible to network participants, allowing rollups and modular execution chains to scale while keeping their security guarantees intact. It is designed to offer fast finality for data attestations compared to other live DA solutions. Avail Nexus is a multichain coordination layer that abstracts cross-chain interactions, letting applications reach users and liquidity across multiple networks through a single integration rather than relying on traditional bridges or separate deployments. Together, these layers position Avail as a modular blockchain infrastructure protocol in the data availability and smart contract platform categories, aiming to serve as connective plumbing for the wider onchain economy.
