BMX is the native utility token of BitMart, a centralized cryptocurrency exchange, and is built as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. Although the BMX symbol is used officially, the underlying smart contract continues to display the original BMC designation on block explorers, a remnant of the earlier issuance.
