SuperWalk is a move-to-earn fitness application that operates within the GameFi category, built on the Arbitrum and Kaia blockchain ecosystems. The project originates from a community-based running app called Proground, through which the development team conducted research on walking pattern recognition, GPS tracking, and vehicle detection before launching the Web3 version. The platform's primary utility is delivered through its native token, GRND, which functions as the reward asset within a dual-mode system. In Pro Mode, users acquire NFT shoes to participate, earning GRND tokens by walking or running at a designated pace. These digital shoes can be leveled up to increase the rate of rewards. For users without cryptocurrency experience, Basic Mode offers a simplified entry point where participants download the app and earn a smaller amount of the WALK token for their physical activity. SuperWalk also extends its ecosystem into the metaverse through a partnership with ZEPETO, a virtual world with hundreds of millions of users, where holders can use their NFT shoes. Additionally, the project plans to connect in-app fitness activity to tangible rewards by enabling users to redeem real sneakers through Kream, a sneaker resale platform based in East Asia.
