KFI Klever Finance

Klever Finance (KFI) is the native governance token of the Klever Blockchain, a Layer 1 network focused on decentralized finance and smart contract functionality. Within the Klever ecosystem, KFI operates separately from the primary utility token KLV, which handles transaction fees and gas, while KFI is dedicated to on-chain governance and protocol stewardship. Holders of KFI are granted direct influence over the blockchain's operation and evolution. Through an on-chain voting system, KFI holders can approve or reject new application proposals, vote on changes to existing app configurations such as fees and functionalities, and participate in decisions regarding new projects joining the network. Active participants in governance are also eligible to receive network rewards. KFI can be acquired by KLV holders who commit KLV into daily mining pools, with the KLV used in this process permanently burned and removed from circulation. The token has a hard maximum supply cap of 1,000,000 KFI, with only 150,000 made available in the initial phase. The full supply is distributed through a halving mechanism designed to unfold over approximately twenty years, giving the token a deliberately scarce supply profile.
