PACT is a blockchain-based lending infrastructure protocol deployed on the Aptos network. The project is designed to give fintechs and asset managers a direct path to stablecoin-denominated credit, enabling loans to be originated, serviced, and repaid entirely in stablecoins without dependence on traditional intermediaries. Rather than adapting existing lending technology to digital assets, PACT rebuilt the loan origination and management stack from the ground up. This architecture aims to lower the cost of capital, reduce certain categories of fraud risk, and broaden access to credit, with an emphasis on supporting high-frequency lending and microcredit at scale. By issuing loans in stablecoins, PACT also provides borrowers with crypto-native wallets, offering a seamless entry point into the broader digital-asset economy. Positioned within the Aptos ecosystem, PACT functions as a real-world asset issuance platform and serves as governance infrastructure for its community, giving holders a voice in how the protocol evolves.
