StraitsX XUSD is a stablecoin issued by StraitsX and pegged 1:1 to the United States Dollar. The token operates on multiple blockchains, with its Ethereum smart contract first deployed in February 2024 and additional availability within the Solana ecosystem, allowing it to serve users across two of the most widely used networks in digital assets. XUSD is designed to enable fast, around-the-clock global payments and to act as a bridge between the financial systems of the ASEAN region and the stability of the US dollar. By combining a fiat-pegged design with on-chain functionality, the token aims to support cross-border settlements and everyday transactional use for both individuals and institutions operating across Southeast Asia and beyond. The project has received acknowledgment from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as compliant with Singapore's forthcoming stablecoin regulatory framework, placing it among the Asia-Pacific stablecoins built with formal regulatory alignment in mind.
