XX Network (XX) is a full-stack platform that combines a quantum-ready layer 1 blockchain with a privacy-focused communications network. Invented by cryptographer David Chaum, the project integrates a native scalable blockchain with the cMix communications layer, which provides metadata protection for messages and transactions routed through the network. Any application or blockchain can use the xxDK to add quantum-secure, end-to-end encryption to its own traffic. The network's privacy capabilities are demonstrated by xx messenger, a decentralized, end-to-end encrypted messaging application and one of the first messengers designed to be quantum-secure.
