As of 15:00 UTC on 16 Aug, Humanity (H) posted a 24.6% 24-hour price gain on CoinMarketCap — and still slipped out of the top 100. The exit exposes how thin the boundary is at the ~$280M mcap cutoff, where TIA and AINFT edged in while H got bumped.

The boundary paradox

H, FET, TIA, and AINFT all clustered between $0.28B and $0.29B in market cap on the snapshot — a ~$10M spread that determines four rank slots near the very bottom of the top 100.

Token Status 24h
H Humanity was #100, exited ▲ 24.6%
TIA Celestia #98, entered ▲ 0.9%
AINFT #100, entered ▲ 0.3%
FET Artificial Superintelligence Alliance was #98, exited ▼ 2.0%

H was the strongest single-session performer among the four by price, but two tokens with larger absolute mcap edged ahead on the cutoff. FET dropped on a flat-to-down session, surrendering the AI-token cluster's seat at the bottom of the top 100.

Above the cutoff

The 26-28 band told a cleaner sub-story. PYUSD climbed two ranks to #26 as AVAX gave up the same two slots on a 2.3% dip. A PayPal-affiliated stablecoin displacing a top-30 L1 in a single session is the kind of micro-shift that mcap-weighted indices absorb without trace. Lower down, VELVET gave back six ranks on a 9.4% drop — the snapshot's largest single faller — while ETHFI added four on ether.fi restaking flow.
