Lido DAO is the governance organization behind Lido Finance, a decentralized liquid staking protocol operating primarily within the Ethereum ecosystem. Liquid staking allows users to stake digital assets without locking them up; instead of becoming illiquid, deposited tokens are converted into tradable representations such as stETH, which can be freely moved across decentralized finance applications while still earning staking rewards.
