The second is a real-estate debt fund, where tokens represent a claim on a pool of mortgages, home-equity lines of credit, or bridge loans. Tokenization does not eliminate property risk. It repackages it. If the only realistic exit is the issuer's buyback, that is a constraint you should price in.

Finally ask about valuation. How often is NAV updated, and who computes it? Has NAV ever been revised materially after publication? How is the on-chain price kept in line with NAV, and what happens when the two diverge? These are not theoretical questions. They are the questions that decide whether a tokenized property position is a yield instrument or a trap when conditions turn.
