Flare Smart Accounts Go Live in D'CENT Wallet, Unlocking Native XRP DeFi Yield!

Flare Network has launched Smart Accounts integration inside D'CENT hardware wallets, opening a direct path for XRP holders to put cold-storage assets to work without surrendering custody. The flow is two signatures on the XRP Ledger, FXRP minted on Flare, and funds deposited into the Monarq XRP Yield Vault — self-custodied the entire way.

The launch is paired with a $55,000 campaign reward pool targeting D'CENT users and early depositors, giving the integration an immediate incentive layer on top of the structural yield access it provides.

For the XRP ecosystem, this is a meaningful step: native DeFi yield has historically required bridging through centralised intermediaries or accepting smart-contract custody. A hardware-wallet-native path that keeps keys on the device removes one of the last friction points for conservative XRP holders looking to generate returns.
